We are happy to announce… this event will be offered at a sliding scale $0-$55!!!! No one will be turned away for a lack of funds because we believe this knowledge is our right and responsibility to have. 

We are pleased to host Adam Bigelow, horticulturist and naive plant connoisseur, for a deep-dig into the flora of Southern Appalachia. We will discuss the astounding biodiversity of plants in this region, as well as the plethora of benefits they offer to the ecosystem (including us!). Adam will share decades of knowledge on the cultivation, maintenance, and uses of native plants.  

As the evenings begin to cool down, it's time to get perennials in the ground! Planting trees and shrubs in the Fall is vital, as it gives them time to focus on root growth before Spring. Learn the tips, tricks, and techniques of successful Fall planting. We will also have a variety of native plants at the shop for purchase after the workshop- courtesy of Carolina Native Nursery.  

In this workshop, land-owners will be given the tools to become land-stewards. Don't miss this opportunity!
