10.02.16 // Multi-Functional Edible Landscape Plants with Chuck Marsh // 6-9pm

$ 30.00

Most edible landscape plants are known for their main function - producing a fruit or nut. Permaculturalists also look at a plant's polycultural roles, such as nitrogen fixers and aromatic pest confusers. In this session we'll go beyond all that and explore little-known outputs from these plants, including teas from their leaves and flowers.

Chuck Marsh is a pioneering Permaculture teacher, designer, community organizer, and horticulturist. He founded Useful Plants Nursery and is a senior partner at Living Systems Design. He works locally with Grow Food Where People Live and internationally with the Jamaican Sustainable Farm Enterprise Program.

$15-30 per person, sliding scale.
