In the spring and fall, wild greens are abundant, tender, and full of nutrients that our bodies crave. If you’ve ever wanted to forage the free food surrounding you, but have felt intimidated from lack of knowledge, or want to go deeper into cooking with wild food, this workshop is your opportunity! Depending on weather we will take an educational plant walk through the neighborhood to identify some wild foods. Abby will bring a variety of wild greens that are most likely growing near you, probably in your own backyard. She’ll demonstrate making a wild salad, pesto, fritters, and more. Get to taste these green goodies and go home with recipes.
