LOCALLY HANDMADE MEDICINE JEWELRY BY A NATIVE INDIGENOUS TRIBAL MEMBER

**Please indicate the number bracelet you would like when you check out.**

Traditionally in South America these bracelets made of "chaquira" are worn in Ayahuasca ceremonies or any other kind of ceremony or ritual that helps us to connect with Mother Earth, Father Sky and our True Inner Self. The beaded chaquira jewelry is traditionally made by a family of shamans from the Kamtsa Tribe of the Putumayo Region of Colombia. The family continues the tradition right here in Appalachia. Claudia creates healing jewelry in Marshall, NC and weaves in blessings and shamanic protection into each piece.

The chaquira (beads) is compared to corn seeds, and holds extensive symbolism, which is the subject of rituals that lead to purification. The chaquira means life, and through its coloring, each bead shows us feelings and emotions that are born from the most sacred part of our ancestors.
This sacred jewelry helps to protect us from unwanted energies and negative people. It is good to wear one bracelet on each arm so that outside energies cannot enter into your body and soul.
