Yoga on the Farm - with Ceiara Cartony - June 21 ~ International Day of Yoga: Community ~

$ 10.00
Today we celebrate the internationally recognized holiday of YOGA!  Established just 4 years ago, June 21st has been the day we join  together and embrace the many practices within this community of unity!  We will open with speaking of where yoga began and how we have evolved  into such a broad spectrum of practice, which is the true reflection of  why we practice--- to meet ourselves as we are, uniquely beautiful and  accept all that is. As we create movement we will honor our individual  needs free from comparing or competing. By enjoying the company of  community we will generate positive, contagious energy through presence  & breath; we are one.

About the Teacher, Ceiara Cartony: After over 10 years of yoga practice, I became a 200hr certified Hatha yoga teacher in 2014 at the Lotus Pond in Tampa, Florida. My classes focus on alignment, alongside utilizing the breath with movement and intertwining the 8 limbs philosophy. Finding stillness & allowing the mind to disconnect from distraction through meditation technique is essential in every one of my classes. What initially began as a physical goal, my practice has evolved into recognizing the beautiful unveiling that yoga offers with yoga ethics. I aspire to outline the importance of yoga's entirety when teaching, creating an impact of mystery and yearning to learn more. My goal is to keep students coming back to explore & blossom their truest self. Teaching outdoors is something that gives the yoga practice an experience like no other.  In addition to Yoga on the Farm, I lead classes for Namaste in Nature, and yoga in the park at Carrier Park, Asheville. I am also a mama to 2 daughters who I home school & we can always be found adventuring in the wilderness!
