An herbal blend that is similar to coffee in both flavor profile and the ritual of making it. You can grind it with coffee beans to reduce your caffeine intake or to wean yourself off caffeine all together. It is great as a warm beverage in the afternoon, when you crave the richness of coffee or tea, but don't want to toss and turn all night.
Chicory Root, Eleuthero Root, Dandelion Root, Burdock Root,
Chaga Mushroom, Carob, Orange Peel, Cinnamon Chips
*all ingredients are organic or ethically wildcrafted dried herbs.
Grind 1 generous teaspoon per cup, or adjust to desired strength.
Use a french press or pour-over coffee cone to brew,
the same way you would regular coffee.
If you don't have a grinder, you can simmer the herbs in a pot for
5-10 minutes, then strain, or let them steep longer in a french press.
You can add a percentage of regular coffee beans if you would like,
then gradually reduce the percentage of coffee beans if you are
trying to minimize your coffee intake.
Store in an air tight container in a cool, dark place.
