This class will focus on boosting brain health, improving focus, memory and mood through nutrition. The brain requires constant fuel that comes from the foods you eat. What you eat directly affects the structure and function of your brain and, ultimately, your mood. Eating high-quality foods that contain vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants nourishes the brain and protects it. There is a direct correlation between diets high in refined sugars and processed foods and impaired brain function including inflammation, mood disorders and depression. You will leave this class thinking about the importance of the gut and brain connection and with practical ways to incorporate nutrient dense foods into your diet to improve and maintain your overall brain health.
