In this class we will provide essential and easy tips of making your home safer and cleaner with the unique ways to use the organic soap nut fruit, as well as recipes to stimulate your senses and cleanse your space naturally!
What is a Soap Nut? These curious little pods are harvested, de-seeded, and sun dried fruit from the “Soapberry” tree. These towering, thickly vegetated trees are always organic, as pests do not like the taste of their frothy fruit. Of all the varieties of soap nuts, Sapindus Mukorossi is the best for cleaning because it is loaded with the natural surfactant “saponin.” When dissolved in warm water saponin transforms into a foamy substance that removes dirt and odors from most any surface – from textiles to tennis shoes!

In order to have equitable access, we offer all of our classes at a sliding scale as a way to make our classes more affordable to more people. The sliding scale is a simple tiered pricing system that allows people to choose the price they are able to pay, within a specified range. Pay what you can, no one is turned away for lack of funds.
***CANCELLATION POLICY***
Cancellation by Villagers:
If a class needs to be cancelled because (1) it does not meet the minimum number of registrations or (2) due to inclement weather, you will be notified by email 24 hrs in advance. Please check your email 24 hrs prior to class. For cancellations by Villagers, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellation by Student:
If you cancel within 48 hrs of the class, you will receive a refund in the form of store credit. Cancellations with less that 48 hrs notice are not eligible for a refund.
If you do not show up and do not give notice, your registration fee will be treated as a donation to the teacher and the shop.
