Herbal vinegars are a safe and simple way to create medicine for yourself and your family. This class will explore the benefits of using vinegar medicinally, proper sanitation and preservation techniques, and different methods of making infused vinegars and oxymels. You will be introduced to a range of herbal allies to support you moving into the winter season, and make your own vinegar to take home that addresses your particular needs. You will leave empowered to take your health into their own hands and have the tools to begin a personal healing journey. 
$30, plus $10 materials fee
Sarah M. Chappell is a tarot mentor, holistic business coach, and herbalist helping folks to craft supportive lives of self-care and service. As a person in recovery, Sarah's herbal practice focuses on alcohol-free remedies and endeavors to make herbal healing accessible to all who need it regardless of their relationship to alcohol. She has studied herbalism and medicine making at the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, the Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine, and the Terra Sylva School of Botanical Medicine.
Cancellation by Villagers:
If a class needs to be cancelled because (1) it does not meet the minimum number of registrations or (2) due to inclement weather, you will be notified by email 24 hrs in advance.  Please check your email 24 hrs prior to class.  For cancellations by Villagers, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellation by Student:
If you cancel within 48 hrs of the class, you will receive a refund in the form of store credit.  Cancellations with less that 48 hrs notice are not eligible for a refund.
If you do not show up and do not give notice, your registration fee will be treated as a donation to the teacher and the shop.
