With all of the harsh and toxic chemicals in our products today, it’s important to either buy or make your own all natural products. We are told that chemicals are Generally Regarded As Safe by the government, but these ingredients are put into our products before they are even thoroughly tested. We become the guinea pigs! Some all natural products require more labor, but there are quite a few that are easier to make for yourself. Facial astringent & toner, bug repellent, and relaxing bath soaks are three that are relatively easy to make and the ingredients are easy to acquire. Come join Stephanie Poetter to learn about some of the ingredients you should be avoiding, and how to make these three products yourself!”

Stephanie Poetter is the co-owner of Locally Good Farm in Burnsville, NC, with her husband Patrick. She has been making all natural bath, body and household products for 16 years. Her exploration into vinegar creation started 2 years ago when she was searching for an ACV that not only had the health benefits she enjoyed, but tasted delicious too! Stephanie has a BFA in Industrial Design from the University of Kansas, but has spent most of her time in the food industry working in restaurants, grocery stores, and now as a farmer. Locally Good Farm can be found at the Yancey County Farmers’ Market as well as various stores around Asheville. Stephanie can be found hiking with Patrick and her beautiful baby boy Finnegan
