Trees are under-utilized as medicine. These guardians of the forest hold the energy of the woods, but they also offer us wonderful medicine. One of the challenges of using them is knowing how to harvest and process tree bark. So in this class we will talk about the best time of year to harvest, how to separate bark (exactly what IS the inner bark?) and the 10 best common medicinal trees of this area. If we're lucky, we'll have some fresh bark to process. Trees covered include Wild Cherry, White Pine, Mimosa, Witch Hazel, Black Haw and Dogwood.
